Quarterback Brett Favre returned to the practice field on Friday, did limited work and was listed as questionable on the Vikings injury report because of his left ankle injuries. Favre wants to play Sunday and extend his NFL record of 291 consecutive regular-season starts.Air Yeezy Ato Matsumoto Coach Brad Childress continued to make no promises about whether Favre or Tarvaris Jackson would start against the Patriots, and said he probably will wait until Sunday to make the decision. An NFL source told the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Thursday that Childress was leaning toward starting Jackson. Asked Friday if he wanted Favre to be the starter, Childress said: "If he gives us the best chance to win, yes. There are a couple of things. Can he protect himself? What gives us the best chance to win?" air max 95 air max penny What remains unclear is how much of Childress' thinking is being driven by Favre's injury and how much is performance-based. Favre has 10 interceptions in six games and has lost four fumbles. His 68.0 passer rating ranks 30th in the NFL. "Those are things for you guys to ponder and write about," Childress said. "I am strictly talking about what he was doing here (Friday) in practice." Favre, who did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, was on the field at the beginning of Friday's session throwing soft passes during the brief portion that was open to the media. Jackson was under center with the first offense when team drills began, but it's believed Favre got plenty of work as well. "You always want to see by the end of today where he is at and certainly as he comes back in the morning to see where he is at," Childress said. "I am fond (of) saying, '48 hours to game time.' ... Can bones heal in 48 hours? Probably not." Childress declined to assess Favre's mobility Friday, saying: "I'm not giving any scouting reports. (It was) better than an iron deer on the lawn."air max 2009 air max 90 Favre made a 10-second appearance in the locker room as he made his way to get treatment. Asked by a reporter how it went, he said: "Not bad for a 41-year-old quarterback." Favre did move gingerly on the practice field and had his foot taped. He ordinarily wears a size-14 shoe but has been fitted with a size 15 for his left foot, and it's expected he will wear some type of high top with a protective shell on it if he does play. Favre next's step will be going through Saturday's walkthrough before the team departs for the East Coast. Childress said the two had a "good conversation" on Friday and will continue to have dialogue. "I'll speak with him plenty," Childress said. "The conversations aren't like going to a confessional once a week that I have to go to a church to speak with him. He is in and around the building all the time. The dialogue is generally ongoing. I know people view that as being called to the principal's office when you sit in my office." Jackson is approaching this game as if he will play, and he said he sees this is just another speed bump during his five years in Minnesota. "The stuff that I've been through the last couple of years, not saying that I'm a victim or anything, but it's been a different situation here," Jackson said. "I understand that. I'm just trying to make the best of it." Childress, though, wasn't about to bite when ask how difficult this decision has been for him. "I'm not losing any sleep over it," he said. "It will all sort itself out." air jordans air max 180
